1.<\/strong> Name, address and nationality of the renewal applicant.
If the applicant is a person different from the owner registered with the Mexican Patent and Trademark Office (MPTO), it would be necessary to update the ownership.
If the applicant is the same person that appears as owner in the MPTO\u2019s database, but the address has changed, the trademark owner has the option to update the registered address, although there are no negative consequences for not recording the change of address.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

2.<\/strong> Statement of actual and effective use of the trademark in Mexico to distinguish at least one of the goods or services stated in the trademark registration.<\/p>

The trademark rights would be limited to the products or services stated in the declaration of use.<\/p>

The statement of use does not need any special formality.<\/p>
